History

10Company History Harrie van Casteren, as the company was originally called, dates back to 1906 and had made itself a special name for excellence and quality in service within the transport industry over the first 93 years of its existence. In 1999, when it was taken over by the present owner, Mathe Holleman, it changed not only hands but also name. Business went on under the new name HaCas Transport, a transport company with a specialization: groupage transport between The Netherlands and the whole of France.

In 2002 HaCas Transport moved to a new location in Tilburg, with easy access from the A58.  The office with its modern warehouse of 2500 m2 and modern freight facilities was ideally situated in the centre of Benelux and close to the main ports in the area, i.e. Rotterdam, Antwerp and Amsterdam.  Furthermore, HaCas Transport was able to offer storage, transhipment as well as value added logistics tailored to customers’ needs.

In 2007 the increased need for more space could be met at the new premises in Gilze, with 8500 m2 of warehousing space, where more than 25 dedicated staff members do their utmost every day to ensure optimal reliability and service.
